these past few weeks have been really amazing. not at all what i expected. we had an amazing time of ministry at a coptic othodox church in a town called qussia in egypt. but the Lord did a lot more there in our team.
since the beginning of this month we have all started to realize that we are getting very low on our finances. and we still have 2 1/2 months to go. so some people started to worry…i am one of those people 🙂 i personally am almost out of money in my account with AIM and i thought that soon i was going to have to go home. i really started to pray that either the Lord would provide the finances for me or give me a peace about going home….but He did so much more than that.
all of the team leaders got together and started praying about finances and what we should do. after some time of prayer it was decided by the teams and AIM that we….of course…didn’t want anyone to go home. we decided that we were going to work together to raise the rest of the money so that we could all finish the race.
at the beginning of this trip the Lord gave me a word. at the time i thought that it was just for my small team…but now i know that it was for all of us….
“all of the believers were together and had everything in common. selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. they broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” acts 2:42-47
they gave everything to each other. no one had more than the other. everyone was equal. and what came out of that was salvation. that is what we are here for. that is our hearts desire.
so…we have decided to come together and support each other in this. and i believe that the Lord is going to honor that. the Lord has called us to be unified and that is what we are going to do. these past few weeks have been wonderful. we have all been in the same house and spending lots of time together. the Lord is bringing us closer everyday.
right now for all of the world racers to finish the race we are still in need of about $16000. this seems like a lot…but not when you consider who we serve. this is completely possible for God and i believe that we will recieve all of it and more.

i praise the Lord for getting us this far and i know that He wants us to finish. these next few months are going to be wonderful and He has big plans. i thank Him in advance for providing for us!!!
