last night we had our friends over to the hotel again for us to be able to hang out one last time. our contact was with us yesterday so it made it a lot easier to talk to them. we went downstairs and had dinner together and the girls got up and sang some kareoke for us. that is apparently a big deal here in china. we said our good-byes and that was it.
this morning we all got up and packed our bags and waited for our friend paul to come….he was going to help us get on a bus. before he came we sat down and had a time of prayer about the city and the people we have met. we were supposed to leave around 12:00 and it was getting pretty close to that time. when we were done praying kim told us that while we were praying she felt like she heard the Lord tell her that we needed to stay. seriously…we are all in the room with all of our bags packed ready to leave as soon as paul comes. we didn’t know what to do..so we prayed some more for guidence. i personally am completly ok with staying, i really like it here and i would love to continue our relationships. we decided to stay one more night and pray and ask the Lord to show us what to do. paul invited us to come to his school this afternoon so we went there with him. when we got there we met his english teacher. he is a very nice man. he invited us in to talk to some of the kids. they were so nervous, but some of them speak very well. then he invited us to come back tomorrow to talk to all of the kids. we were so excited and definatly felt like this was from the Lord. we accepted and he said that we could have a party. yeah!!! we really like parties. as we talked to him he told us about other people coming to here and telling about Christmas and the Lord gave me an idea. Easter is coming up soon and that would be perfect to tell them. i told the rest of the group and they were really excited about it.
the english teacher invited us to come to his house and we had dinner with him and his family. he had lots of questions about our life in the USA. we discussed with him the idea of talking about Easter and he said that would be great. so please be in prayer about that for us. that the Lord will speak through us, we will be filled with the Holy Spirit and they will see the truth.
