Dear Family and Friends,
I hope you are all well. I am writing to you today to let you know about some wonderful things happening and new opportunities in my life. A year and a half ago, I started going to a college-age group at my local church here in Castle Rock called The Grove. There, I’ve met some amazing people that have helped spur me on towards a better, closer walk with Christ. Over those past 18 months, I became more involved at the church and helping out wherever I could, and in doing so, have felt more fulfilled in allowing God to move through me and to the people around me. As my commitments grew, so did my desire for more Kingdom work. Since April, in a seemingly sudden fashion, I am excited to tell you that God has called me to missions.
I will be a missionary in The World Race program through an organization called Adventures in Missions. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip that travels to 11 different countries all around the world. World Racers serve through community and various ministries to advance God’s Kingdom throughout the world. I will travel and serve with a team, and on the Race, we will be partnering with local churches and ministries to work in orphanages, preach the Gospel, minister to women and children in human trafficking, love the unloved and bring hope to the hopeless.
I am absolutely thrilled by this new and exciting opportunity God has given me, and I want you to be a part of it. I believe God has called me to this new chapter in life and have no doubts that He will provide everything I need in preparing for this trip. It is my prayer, and the reason I write to you today, that God would provide through you. So I ask that you would prayerfully consider supporting me spiritually and financially during this ministry. For The World Race, I must raise $15,500, which covers all expenses and needs while on the trip. Financial support can be given via personal check or online as a one-time gift or recurring monthly donation.
