So I guess I’m a blogger now. Never saw that one coming—seeing as my spelling and grammar are rarely up to par (Confession: I have had my Mommy edit most all of my papers or important writings even after school; including this. It’s enabling and I blame her for the continuance of it.). I suppose we should get to know each other before you begin to read tid-bits of my heart and soul.

First things first, (and what I’ve told anyone looking to hire me for design), I do not do spelling or grammar. In fact, I was held back in the 3rd grade for that very reason. So please give me grace over this next year and a half.

I have a free bird’s soul (no connection to Lynyrd Skynyrd) that I can trace back to both sides of my parents. First from my hitch-hikin’ Mom and second—to my Grandfather who wanted to live out of an RV. But I’m also able to trace it to my heavenly Father. I believe that He has instilled in me—a love to live on less and travel far—which is what lead me to The World Race.

I believe that God will only give you what you can handle—or He will find a way out of it for you. I also believe that He gives you the desires of your heart simply because He wants you to have the most full and vibrant earthly life possible. For me, that recipe includes this trip.

Jesus traveled in a discipleship, growing, learning, and playing with a strong brotherhood. One of the things I am most looking forward to is the discipleship that I will be in and among. I don’t doubt I will go through some personal mountains and valleys but I have faith that the people surrounding me will bring me through the valleys and take joy with me on the mountaintops.

Lets pray I don’t become the snooty, self-rightous type because I blog now.
