//Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created. ~ Esther 4:14//
Hi there, my name is Jennifer. Jennifer Hope Enocksen, if we’re being fancy, but everyone just calls me Jenn. I am a lover of life, a seeker of adventure, and an old soul. Most importantly, I’m a beloved daughter of Christ.
Some things you should know about me:
I was born and raised in the lone star state as the youngest daughter of a high school football coach. I have wonderful, amazing, Godly family that supports me through all of my crazy ideas, projects, and adventures. No matter where I ramble, I will stay southern and sassy until my dying day.
I’m a graduate of Texas A&M University (WHOOP) with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism. I have always been passionate about agriculture and pursued creative outlets such as writing and photography.
After college, I moved to a town in Maryland that you probably have never heard of to work for an outdoor education nonprofit that strives to get people of all ages outside on the river, trail and farm. At the moment that I’m typing this, I live in a converted bus that is way cool and very, very weird.
I truly believe that God’s been leading me towards this trip for a long, long time and, in typical style, I never saw it coming. I’ve always dreamed of a great adventure around the world and of impacting lives in a big way, BUT…
I’m scared. Of this whole thing. The foreign countries, the nitty gritty work, the plane rides. Heck, I’m even scared of the fundraising and daunting preparation. But I’m grabbing onto God’s hand and leading where He follows. I’m so excited to share this World Race journey with y’all and THANK YOU for reading this right now.
