Gecko’s on our walls catching bugs
Foot long skinks running across the floor (and hanging from mosquito nets)
Rats chasing each other in the rafters then falling on the floor causing us all to scream and run
Newborn baby rats falling from the rafter almost landing on me
Sleeping in tents to stay safe from creatures in our house
Peeing on the side of the house at night because the bathroom is too far away
Frogs jumping on us during team time
Fighting your way through laundry every time you walk in the front door
Stepping in mud all the time
If it’s raining, expect to get wet even while using the indoor squatty
Rats chewing holes in tents to get to the peanut butter
Seeing a dead dog hanging from a rafter in the neighbor’s house after its fur
was just torched off
Same night, dog being offered to us for tasting during dinner
Family of 5 on one motorcycle
People dressing as though it’s in the dead of winter
13 people on one tuk tuk made for 6

(and I have a kid on my lap haha)
And even after all these crazies, I can honestly say I loved Cambodia!!
