It is so crazy to me that the time has come to book a flight home! This year has flown by and after 3 more short months my feet will touch American Soil! My mind is flooded with mix emotions…thoughts of seeing my family and friends again, i have a list of food I want to eat, clean laundry, hot showers, fast internet, comfy beds…and the list goes on and I am so excited! Then at the same time thoughts of leaving my beloved teammates, leaving behind the World Race culture, not traveling around the world and meeting new people…the end of life as I've known it for the past 11 months. It breaks my heart. It's bittersweet really.
The money I have raised thus far gets me a ticket to LAX and from there it is my responsibility to get home. I need to purchase a plane ticket in the next week to make sure I get the cheapest flight possible. And I don't have the money to do so. So, this is where I need your help! Any donation amount would be a great help…even if it is only $10! It adds up! Thing is, it can not be donated through AIM like the originally support I raised….It must be sent to my dad so he can put it in my bank and then I'll be able to purchase my ticket.
