Ahh! I cannot believe I have just been accepted to the World Race! I am so grateful for this opportunity to see how God will use me in the lives of the people I will be surrounded by. I am also grateful and excited to see how he is going to use those same people to change and grow me. I am looking forward to this challenging journey ahead of me. Now on to raising support and getting the gear!! I have always been hesitant to put myself in positions or organizations that require you to raise support. However, The Lord has immediately shown me that He will provide through friends buying me gear right away or gift cards or wanting to celebrate with me and pray with me through this. It has been amazing start to this incredible journey, and it is only the beginning! I am more than thrilled to see how God will use this! I would ask that all my followers out there continue to pray for me as I prepare for this new adventure that The Lord has called me to!

Here are some questions and answers that will help you better understand what I am doing and why.
What is the World Race?
The world race is a program within the organization called Adventure In Missions. (AIM) AIM has sent over 100,000 people in short term mission trips since 1989. The World Race is 11 countries in 11 months. In each country, we will be serving in different ways. We will serve through orphanages, human trafficking, building communities and churches, praying over villages and more. The countries that I will be going to are: Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malawi, Moldova, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Bulgaria, Ireland, and Romania. (Not in that order).
Why have you decided to do this, you might ask?
I have felt led to do missions for a while, but have had no idea what that was going to look like. Mostly because I have applied for several overseas things and gotten “no” a lot. However, I have been persistent in getting overseas and God’s timing is the best. I now can see how He has used all of the things in my life up until this point to prepare me and equip me for the World Race. Reflecting on my life and the trials and mistakes that have come my way, have all been such an integral part to get me where I am today. It is amazing to look back and see How God and His timing really proves itself to be accurate. I have a heart and passion for children especially babies that do not have anything. I have a desire to bring people hope and to be a mom to those babies even if it just for a short period of time. I have always had the desire to travel and experience the soul and richness of other countries. I want to hear the stories and touch lives along the way. That is why this opportunity is perfect for me.
How is this possible??
Honestly, only through God. I feel led, I follow in obedience, do the work and rely on Him to do the rest. If He wants me to go, then I fully believe He will provide. Also, through friends and family like you! This would not be made possible without your support. I thank you in advance for believing in me, praying for me and supporting me.
