I am six days away from the journey of a lifetime. Six days until I leave the comforts of my home to embark on a trip to chase Jesus and be changed forever. Six days before I say my final goodbyes to all my loved ones!
This blog is for all of you! It’s for the heroes, comforters and encouragers who have supported and loved me to this day and hopefully will continue to do so. This one is for the givers and believers who wiped away my tears, fears and doubts. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all of you!!
First I always need to thank our Creator, the One who brought me here in the first place. Thank you for the cross, your trust and your unending grace and love. Thank you for saving my life.
Antoinette, thank you for giving me a home for the last couple of months before the Race.Your gift of hospitality and your joyful spirit always make my day. Thank you for opening up your home for get togethers, goodbye parties and fundraisers. Your cooking skills are the bomb! You are like a mom to me and I will miss you dearly.
Mike thank you for your unending encouragement and support through this crazy adventure. Your sacrificial giving is a gift from the Lord and I pray He will blow your socks of the next year. Keep on looking up!!!
James thank you for your excitement and giving heart through this process. You lifted some heavy burdens from my heart through prayer and generosity. I will never forget your selflessness.
My beautiful small group girls Sophie, Kristen, Nora, Catherine, Kristen R., Linda, Christie and Jenny. Thank you for your big hearts, accountability and love. Thank you for giving to the World Race and trusting me with this journey. I cannot picture the next year without you ladies but I know goodbye is only for a little while.
Kasia my sweet and gentle soul. I don’t know what I would have done without you the last couple of months. There are not many people I can be completely myself with, knowing they never judge me, no matter how crazy I am. Thank you for being you and reminding me why God send me on this World Race journey in the first place. I love your wisdom and sweet spirit. Don’t ever change that! Thank you for your grace and your sacrificial giving to Gods Kingdom.I will miss you like crazy!
Thank you to each and everyone who came out to the fire and ice fundraiser in April. That night blew me away and I felt incredible loved and supported by all of you. God surely made miracles happen that night and you all were big miracles to me. Thank you Michael for organizing this big fundraiser and continously “advertising” the World Race to your small group. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Angie my bestes most amazing friend in the world! If it wasn’t for that bus stop I wouldn’t even go on the Race. If it wasn’t for your unending grace, forgiveness and love I wouldn’t be leaving in six days. You are the most giving and loving person I know. Your support and constant encouragement bring light no matter how gloomy my day might be. Through this journey you have given more than I deserve, loved more than I ever imagined and supported me more than I ever expected. I just love you to pieces and thank you will never be enough!!
