Hola, leave tonight at 10:30, back to El Reffugio. I’m escorting a young man from Peourto to San Jose Del Pacifico. He grew up here in Puerto Escandido at a orphanage.When he left and went out on his own he fell into drug’s. Sometime last week he went back to the couple who run the orphanage(it seem’s They’re very close,the closest thing he know’s to a mom and dad) and in brokenness cried out for help. They knowing Ella and Jose decided that would be the best place for him. Some of my friend’s who are also missionaries asked me if I could escort him seeing how I was planning on stopping there on my travel’s back north for my birthday tomorrow.Please pray for the young man of 19. His name is Jose. When I met him he was saying goodbye and quite literally falling apart crying.
Peourto Escandido is a tough little Oasis nestled in on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It’s a surfer town with so much MACHISMO in the air you have to stick your nose up to breathe. It’s a city of sin. Bu’there is also a great community of brother’s and sister’s in Christ here. Please also pray for the church here and the people who come here. It’s alot of there last stop.
Went to church this morning with the group from bible study the other night. After church I went with a friend and prayed over a lady with loopis. It was quite awesome and her countenance did a 180º turn from the time I initially saw her, and leaving.
Yesterday my friend Christian and I helped one of the brother’s from the local church move. His wife Deborah was in Israel earlier thi year a week before the war broke out. We got to check out all of her cool photo’s and here about her travel’s it was nice. The brother’s and sister’s here have been quite hospitable and for the most part Iv’e felt quite at ease!!!
