Hey everyone! as of today my account is up to $3,423.15!
Asking for money has by far been the most challenging thing for me to date for the race. I hear stories of people eating all kinds of yummy things and all I can think of is "I hope they have salt." I hear about people sleeping outside for months on end and nothing could sound like more fun to me. When I heard about that cruse ship that lost power and all of the people on board had to sleep on the deck for a week I told my dad that I would have paid to be on that boat. All of the situations that come out of left field and things that will test us are just making me want to go more. But when it comes to asking for money- well, that scares me.
Thankfully God has blessed me with an amazing family and amazing friends that love me more than I can understand. I really have been blown away with the amount of money that has been freely given to me so that I can go and do what I feel is the next step of my relationship with God.
Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be able to make a video about the things I'm bringing on the race so far. I still have to make a youtube account and figure out how to edit videos and pictures together so that I can easily do it on the race. So I guess we will see what will come out of that haha!
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has told me that they will be praying for me on my trip and to those who have given to me for the race! I'll keep y'all updated on how things are going every step of the way!
