Dear Family, friends, the world…
Guess what? I’m going on the World Race!!! That means that in just a few more months, I’ll be leaving for the adventure of a lifetime — 11 countries, 11 months, one unforgettable journey. Yaaay!!! I am beyond excited, overwhelmingly thrilled to be going on this journey and I cannot wait to see all that God is going to use me to do around the world and what He will do in my heart…I know, little ol’ me, God wants to use little ol’ me!
So what is the world race? As much as I do some jogging here and there I’m not talking about running a marathon people. Simply put, the Race is an adventure. We leave our comfort zones and familiar surroundings to spread the gospel through various forms of ministry, which will look different in every country. We usually won’t find out what we’re doing until we go from one country to the next, and sometimes we won’t even find out until we get there. As a result, the Race looks different for all of us, but this video will give you a glimpse into what I could experience over the next 11 months:
Exciting right! This is beyond what I could have possibly imagined, God wants me to step out with Him, be His hands and feet, His love in action…what an wonderful privilege this is and I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
I know some of you are asking “How can I help?” and if you weren’t asking that, well then I just put the thought in your head. I would like for you to partner with me in this endeavor for the Kingdom, honestly I can’t do this on my own, none of us can…but when it gets tough for us, that’s when God steps into the scene and makes all things possible. There are two major ways to help — through prayer and financial giving.
To complete the Race, I need to raise a total of $16,243. I’m 1% of the way toward my goal and any amount you can give is an incredible blessing.
Financial support is important, but even more important is prayer support. God is going to do some incredible things during the Race and my squad and I will need lots of prayer support as we do His work around the world. Shout outs to all the prayer warriors!
