[I’ve just posted three other blogs about our time in Romania so far:
Here (Marishca), Here (Valentine’s Day) and Here (Narnia!)
Go and enjoy those, they’re all good too :-D]

Can you help?

The next month of our race was pegged as our ATL – Ask The Lord – month, a month in which we would consider together where we thought the next place we should go was. As you may have noticed though, what with this month being in Romania when it was originally supposed to be in Bulgaria, our time in Eastern Europe is not looking like we thought it might.

The long and short of it is that the contact base held by AIM for both Bulgaria & Serbia seems to have dried up a bit and they are not able to accommodate all of our squad (42) based on who they have at the moment. As such, we’re all contacting any people we might know who have connections to ministries (or ministries we know directly) in Bulgaria & Serbia but also Hungary & the Ukraine, or any other countries close by.

So if you are reading this and you are aware of an organization that could utilize a team of 6-8 individuals who are committed to:

  • Jesus
  • Being students/servants who will strive to become apart of the ministries community/congregation/outreach and attend to the related needs
  • Committed to working along side the ministry in the goal of expanding God's Kingdom through preaching/teaching/serving in traditional and creative ways
Then please get in touch with me so that we can try and make some links. World Race teams live simply and tend to live on low budget relative to other short term mission teams. Our needs include:
  • safe and secure basic accommodations
  • meals and/or cooking facilities
  • willingness to "host" one or two teams of 6 – 8 people for 30 – 45 days

Any team that might end up there would be prepared to do any kind of ministry required of us – from cleaning, to decorating, to building, to street or door-to-door evangelism, etc.

Please do contact me if you know of anywhere that may be even slightly applicable.

Finally, Michelle is still in need of financial support – please seriously consider how you might be able to help her and check out this blog:

Here (Wish you could somehow be a part of this?)
