So, my arms ache…
I had my first set of jabs yesterday. Quite early I know, but I'm now going to be going out to an area in the Ukraine called the Crimea for ten days in Easter with my church, and so need some for that. It means I'm kind of getting half of all the jabs I'll need for next year before Easter and the other half after Easter.
But it's also ouch because they are quite expensive when you add up for the total of each of them… still at least I get some of them for free on the NHS, a benefit not shared by my fellow team mates from America – gutted guys.
I'm having fun arranging flights for training camp too, which is also rather costly, but I think I'm getting there. Props to my family for all of the help with these associated financial costs, they really are a gift from God.
Looking forward to a weekend away with my church tonight, called the Intensified Weekend – should be amazing. Please pray for me as I'll be playing in the band on the Saturday morning, and although I've lead worship a lot and played in bands a few times before this is the first time I'll have played in a Kings Church band.
Hope you are all doing well, I'll try and keep an eye on your blogs 🙂
God bless
Peter
