the wednesday before last
was our first day at casa jackson
which is a nursery/hospital for malnourished children
ive been meaning to write about this but the internet has been a HOT MESS!
when we first got there we had a tour and as soon as i saw julian i knew he was my favorite 🙂
julian is a year old and he has a parasite from unfiltered water and lack of nutrients
he was taken to the hospital for a blood transfusion
&& is finishing the program at Casa Jackson to get him back to a healthy state
Casa Jackson accepts children from ages 0-14 who suffer from malnourishment
the program teaches parents the proper way to feed their children
and to help them to be the best parents possible
while giving the children what they need to become healthy again
after playing with Julian all day i went and visited the other sweet babies in the hospital/nursery
and as i looked around i saw how much each of them are fighting for their lives on a everyday basis
and just imagine the purpose God has for each of these children and the lives that are before them
they have no idea what may lie ahead good or bad but they still fight..
we have a choice to fight for alot of things…
football teams, hobbies, family, and friends
but are we willing to fight for the purpose and destiny God has placed before us??
ive learned so much from those babies at Casa Jackson
and i now ask myself everyday
WHAT ARE YOU REALLY FIGHTING FOR??
