Thailand was longer than I imagined it would be. It all started at 3 a.m. one morning. First we spent the night in Managua (the
capital), Nicaragua, then took a five hour flight to Florida, had one hour to
get through customs and border check and catch the next flight, another five
hours to LA, California, six hour layover, then a 26 hour flight to Taiwan,
followed by a two hour layover, then off to Bangkok, Thailand. And four
the other side of the world! The
daylight difference didn’t really impact me much the first couple of days since
I had sleep so much during the four day travel. There was one point while in transition when we didn’t see daylight for
24 hours. It was like we were running
away from the sun flying to Asia.
We have been
ministering now for a week in a variety of ways such as bar outreaches, prayer
walks, giving out Chinese Bibles , English classes, prison ministry and
more. One of the
ministries that we’ve been doing on a daily basis are prayer walks; where we
walk down ‘Walking Street’ in pairs and pray in the Spirit over that place and
people.
