It’s hard to believe that I’ve been home now from Kingdom Journeys for over a month! Time really does fly by! It’s been incredible being back though and God has been doing so many great things in my life. Even harder to believe,
July 28th was exactly 1 year since I returned from the World Race!

(Me while on the Camino de Santiago)
When I arrived back in Gainesville from Kingdom Journeys, all I knew was that God said He wanted me back here volunteering at Adventures. He didn’t give me any details, so I just trusted that He’d provide.
And as always, He did!
Currently the Lord has blessed me with a place to live here in Gainesville. I have the incredible opportunity of living with a couple from the office, Bill & Elizabeth Gabler. They recently moved here from New Hampshire to work at Adventures. They are an incredible couple and I feel truly blessed to have them as housemates!
When I returned, like I said, God didn’t give me specifics; He just said to “go back.” So, I did what He asked, really not having any clue what it would look like.
Before leaving for Kingdom Journeys, as most of you know, I was working in the “Church to Church” department at Adventures. Upon returning, Bruce, my boss, asked if I’d continue to help them. Without hesitation, I jumped at the chance! It’s a passion of mine, and I knew that was something God had put on my heart. So I began helping out with that again.

However, I still felt like there was more…
Then I was approached by some people at the office asking if I’d be interested in helping out in “CGA”, which is the apprenticeship program that I was part of this past year while at Adventures. Not sure of details, I had a few meetings to find out more.
Long story short, I will still be working/volunteering in the “Church to Church” department doing what I was doing AND I will also be a “Community Development Coordinator” for the “CGA” group!
Let me explain.
(CGA folks before leaving for the summer to lead trips)
Basically what I’ll be doing is having the blessing of coordinating events for the CGA apprentices that will be here this fall. I will live in a house with a group of men who just returned from the World Race and I will also be in charge of doing all the one-on-ones with the participants to help disciple, process, speak into their lives, and just be there to hear them while they try to readjust back into life, while trying to seek out “What’s next” for them. With that, I’ll also be planning some fun stuff for them throughout the semester!
To sum that up, I’ll be doing one-on-one’s with all 60-80 participants, once a month! If you know me, you know that’s gonna be exciting for me, because I love talking to people and helping them process where they’re at in their walk with Jesus!
I’ll be here doing that September – December. Pretty cool opportunity if you ask me!
So that’s what’s happening in the life of Dusty Dills right now.
One last thing…

(Map of Africa with Kenya highlighted)
Last night I received an email from some people who work in the “Parent Vision Trips” department at Adventures. What that department does is it works on the intergenerational healing ministry at Adventures. God is using them in some amazing ways!
Reason I mention that is because the ministry has really had an incredible impact on me personally and I believe in what they are doing. So much that, I was asked to travel to Kenya with the team in early September to speak to one of the World Race squads who’ll be on the field.
During a “Parent Vision Trip”, racers have the option of asking their Mom and/or Dad to join them for a week on the field to see what the World Race is like. So, I’ll have the opportunity of joining them for a week to help minister.
This trip will cost me around $2,000 total, so if you’d like to help support me and make this possible, please let me know.
Like I said, I just found out, and I need to purchase a plane ticket this week. Quick, I know, but God always provides when He calls.
Please message me and let me know how you’re doing and how I can be praying for you. My heart is for all of you. Thanks for keeping up with this crazy journey Jesus has me on. I appreciate each of you.
Love y’all.
