Let me tell you about the newest trip to be launched out of Adventures In Missions.
The Vision for Kingdom Journeys
The vision for this trip is to take leaders of high caliber and wake them up to their role and identity in the Kingdom. They will be taken through a process of learning and then applying to gain entrepreneurial skills to build God's Kingdom. Seth Barnes, the founder of Adventures in Missions, has hand selected a group of men to be on "Team One" and to take on this trip...
I was chosen as one of those men.
We will work with different organizations and businessmen around the world who are using their ministries to build God's Kingdom.
Where I Will Be Serving?
We will start the trip with a pilgrimage or a Kingdom journey in Spain (May-June). The purpose of the pilgrimage is to bond and ask questions amongst the amazing group of men that have been selected for this journey. We will mentor one another and also have a few mentors who are world-class leaders come in to engage us and challenge us to push the envelop of possibility as we begin our year.
We will then go to
Nepal (June-August). We will work in Nepal with two organizations, one organization is a computer programming company called
Cloud Factory. They take Nepalese people and use them in their outsourcing company. It is run by a Christian man who is very passionate about involving God in his business and how he runs his business. In turn, God has blessed his company immensely. We will learn from
this man and how he built his Kingdom dream.
We will also work with a man who backpacks into the most remote parts of Nepal and passes out bibles to Nepalese people who have never heard the gospel. We will be able to preach with him and learn from him about how he has built his Kingdom dream.
Then we will go to India (September).There is a Indian man who has been founding churches in India and he now has 3500 churches. God has given him a vision for 20,000 churches in India. Miracles like healing and the blind seeing again happen at every church plant. We will partner with him and his community to help plant churches. He is taking his organization from 3500 churches to 7000 churches in 2013. It's an incredible opportunity to learn from a man whom God has empowered to build His Kingdom in a mighty way. We will learn from him what it takes for God to help your dreams become a reality and then also what it means to supercharge your Kingdom ministry.
We will then work with organizations in South East Asia (Thailand, Sri Lanka, or Closed Country) (October) to apply the skills in entrepreneurship and building Kingdom dreams. We will partner with two organizations in that part of the world to help them build their dreams and to expand their dreams. It will be a unique opportunity for us to apply what we have just recently learned and then also to develop ourselves as leaders.
Finally we will go to
South Korea (November-December). In South Korea we will take all that we have learned from the mentors on the trip, the apostles in the different countries, from the gifted leaders I'm traveling with and build a mission organization in South Korea. South Korea sends out the most missionaries, per capita, of any country in the world. They are truly a nation that is on fire for the Lord and their dedication to building God's Kingdom is incredible. We will build a World Race base in South Korea so that the young people of South Korea will have an opportunity to impact the world in bold new ways.
What a unique opportunity and this is the first pioneering journey. I will be helping to blaze the trail for future leaders to discover their calling.
Why Kingdom Journeys?
This is an opportunity to invest in God's Kingdom and have a long-term impact in not only my generation but also myself. This journey will challenge and develop me as a high capacity leader in this generation already on the rise. It's a short term trip, short term prayer/monetary investment but a long term investment in what God is doing through my life as I begin to learn about my calling. This trip will challenge and develop me as a leader in my generation. It is a truly unique opportunity and I know that God has huge plans in store.
I will receive mentorship from some of the best mentors in the Kingdom. They will provide huge challenges for my team but then also provide a high level of support as we learn along the way.
I know that the generation before me has set a higher standard from which my generation will launch into our callings. My generation is rising up into greatness and God is truly blessing my generation from the seeds plants in the years before us. I don't want the seeds that have been sowed to wither away and die, but I can only do this with your help.
