I cannot believe that I am even typing this blog right now… This is insane. Time flies by so fast.

March 1st will be the half way point for my World Race… It seems like only yesterday I was pulling up at training camp in Copper Hill, Tennessee. That was in July and it doesn’t seem possible that it was that long ago! Its so hard to wrap my mind around. If the first half of this World Race goes by this fast, I cannot even begin to imagine how quick the second half will go by.

Starting January 11th, I will be heading to Swaziland, Africa. Swaziland is one of the poorest and most impoverished countries in the world. It is projected by 2050, that Swaziland will no longer exist. This is due to the fact that the majority of people there have HIV/AIDS. The percentage of adults in Swaziland with HIV/AIDS is estimated at 26.3%, the worlds most severe prevalence. The number of children in Swaziland with HIV/AIDS is estimated to be 15,000, with a total population country wide of 1.2 million. For our time in Swaziland, my team will be paired with 2 other teams and we will be serving at El Shaddai Childrens Home. Its going to be an incredible month in which we will get to pour into these kids lives and love on them. I’m really excited too because El Shaddai is situated atop a beautiful mountain… and if you know me… I love my mountains!

Because of the internet situation in Africa, I am sending this blog out early, incase I do not have access to internet while I am in Swaziland.

By March 1st, I need to be fully funded for my World Race trip. As of now, I still have $3,000 to raise. If I can get that, i’ll be set! If I do not reach my goal of $3,000 I will be sent home early from the World Race… which I do not want to happen.

I appreciate everyone that has already helped support me this far in my journey. I pray that you will consider continuing to give financially to help me stay on this race, and as always, I can use all the prayers I can get too 🙂

If you would like to give financially to my support account, there are several ways you can do this…
