I want to introduce yall to some new friends of mine! Pretty important since I will be spending the next 11 months with these folks!
First I want to give you an idea of how the teams and squads are set up for The World Race. Our squad consist of 44 people total. We are all from different backgrounds, different regions in the world, different walks of life… All this makes up, THE Z SQUAD! I love the fact that we are the letter "Z" because I think it is huge as we go out on The World Race. There have been 25 squads go before us and serve around the world, and I feel like "Z" is important because we have to finish strong! Its awesome to think about what has happened before us… The other squads have built relationships, churches, homes, etc… now its our time to come in and start from where they left off. From this point on, the only way is UP! I am super excited to see what the Lord has in store.

We have 2 squad leaders (see above picture), who have already completed the race and have come back to lead us for the first 4 or 5 months. They are incredible and filled with the Holy Spirit and we are so blessed to have them! Our squad is made up of 7 teams which consist of 6 or 7 people on each team. All the teams are legit! I encourage you to take a look at the race website www.theworldrace.org and you can see all our teams… for now, I want to introduce to yall, the team I am blessed to be a part of…

Rescued Identity… Reaching The World!
I am pumped to be part of this team and serve along side of them! We work great together and really compliment each other well. From a personal view, there are things I struggle to find in myself, that others on my team possess. Thats huge because we can really push each other to do better in those weaker areas. One day we had the opportunity to go out and spend time together as a group, and get to know each other more… that was a great day for our team and I wish I could put into words how the Lord moved that day, because that was when it "clicked" for us… we were exactly the team we were suppose to be, made up of exactly who God had ordained to work together… And I am so stinkin' excited!
I know that this year is going to be awesome as we have the opportunity to serve and minister to people and share the love of Jesus, but in the process, this year is going to be huge for each of my team members, because I know that God wants us to realize who we are in HIM. This year is going to be about finding our identity… and I could not be more excited!
I am pumped to see how we grow as a group and what Jesus is going to do in us and thru us. Its gonna be great! I am so thankful that yall (those reading this blog) get to be part of this adventure too. Love yall.
