My Saturday has been quite incredible actually. I was able to find something out about myself tonight that I never knew…I love to paint! Its so relaxing! and rejuvenating!
Now, you might be asking “how did you ever come to this conclusion Drea?!”
Well, tonight a supporter bought me some paint supplies…
I’ve never painted on a canvas or anything but I felt like it would be cool to start this new form of creative worship. Plus, my roommates are extremely talented painters and have inspired me to give it a try.
Before I started, I was unsure of what to paint so I prayed and asked God for some inspiration. He said “Start with your favorite things”. He knows me so well, my favorite things in this life (aside from Jesus) include water, sunsets and of course….India! So that’s what I painted. It was absolutely incredible to try this new art out and although it’s a little bit of a vulnerable position for me, I felt led to place it up for auction in order to help raise money to buy my visa for India which I will be applying for soon…. (the visa costs about $280 total). If you feel led to support me by placing a bid on this painting, you can email me your bid at [email protected] or text me at 919 780-7558.
