Happy Sunday Friends!!
Thanks so much for joining us in prayer friday, the Mansion Party was a complete success!
We had over 100 people come through our home, enjoy some good conversations and eat lots and lots of snacks! As an extreme extrovert, I was OVERJOYED to have all the people in our new home and felt so blessed to have the opportunity to host not only our CGA friends but also some of our new neighbors.
We ended up having 7 of the boys in the neighborhood hang out with us for a couple hours before the party which was a gift from God to me for sure because I’ve always wanted to have 7 boys one day and so getting to just spend an afternoon with them, playing and laughing was a pleasure! As the party time approached, more and more kids from the neighborhood came and then our friends from work flooded in as well. There were about 20 kids in all that came from the trailer park (ranging from about 5-18), 2 of their moms and probably 70ish coworkers from from Adventures in Missions. Needless to say, our double-wide was poppin!
I was walking around the neighborhood, inviting the neighbors to the party I was overwhelmed by the responses of hospitality and welcoming that I received. One family offered to fix my car, another offered to have us over for dinner and another even offered to have their son date me (lol…i politely declined because I’m moving to India)…but still, SO MUCH KINDNESS! It looks like we as a house have been welcomed into the trailer park with open arms and that is all due to the grace and provision of God….I am so looking forward to this season!!!
Please continue to pray for us as we develop these relationships in our neighborhood, and make sure to email me with your prayer requests as well…there is so much power in prayer and as sisters and brothers in Christ its SO important to utilize the giftings of the body…Ive seen so much fruit come from prayer and challenge you to be praying for the people your love and situations want to see God work in.
