Hey guys!
Its about 1 am Saturday, March 8th right now and in about 3 hours I will be leaving with 38 other students to drive 15 hours up to Chicago. We are spending our spring break working with CRU Urban Immersion ministries and are so excited to be able to spend this time serving the Lord. As a CRU Intern, I along with 2 other student leaders are leading the trip up there and as you could imagine the planning has been pretty stressful this past month but God has been faithful and has lead the way 100%. While we are in Chicago, we will be doing lots of different kinds of ministries but mostly evangelism. For some of the freshman students going (which is a lot!)…this will be their first time sharing the gospel with strangers so please pray that God is able to really bring peace to these hearts and assure them that this is what we are called to do and this is what our soul longs for. I am so so excited to see how the students take in ministry this week and will update you guys when we get back as to how it all goes. Please cover me and my team with prayer, we have a LONG drive there and back so please pray for travel safety, the ministry we do during the week and for the people we will encounter that their hearts would be open and that they would ask questions.
