Life is full of changes! At the end of month three on the World Race, usually big team changes occur. This is because our current Squad Leaders, Joel and Melina (people who have already been on the Race previously) will be leaving at the end of month four. Joel and Melina will be training new Squad Leaders, previous Team Leaders from F-Squad, during this month. New Team Leaders are also raised up, and then teams get switched around!
We are going to miss Team Tzadik 58, very much! Michael, Tyler, Emilee, Bekka, and Alison are still very dear to us!
However, we are excited about our new team, <3. <3 is a symbol for our name, “Greater Love,” using the math symbol for “greater.” This name was inspired from the verse in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
As we live together in community, we are continually being challenged to lay down our lives, for the sake of others. Laying down what I want or need for the needs of my brothers and sisters is what Christ calls us to do.
