Month 10: Chile

  • Ministry host:  A Baptist Church in Santiago; Hosts: Ivan and Pilo and Juan….

  • Sleeping Arrangements:  Bunkbeds

  • Food: We cooked for ourselves, and had a few meals cooked for us

  • Water:  running water, and lukewarm water

  • Flushing Toilets

  • Weather: 55’-70’s

 

Life Learned:

  1. Had Taco Bell in Chile…it was yummy

  2. How do we get the next generation passionate about living for Christ? How do we help them to not be afraid to live for Christ?

  3. What is it that every other country will allow us to come into the schools and talk about God, but we can’t talk about him in our own.

  4. Walmart Exists…in Chile it’s known as “Lider”, in Argentina it’s known as Walmart

  7. Say yes, to the things you used to say no too…unless it drugs, then keep saying no…:)

  8. You get out of life what you put into it…what are you putting into life?

  10. No matter what, even in our times of doubt, God has a plan.

  11. God never leaves; even when you don’t always feel like he’s there.

  12. What do you need to step out in faith in?

  13. Do you grieve things when you need to, or do you hold things in and pretend like it’s nothing?
