Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I would like to announce that I am FULLY FUNDED!! I am not an eloquent person, but if I was this blog would be extremely long with a bunch of fancy words to describe what I’m feeling right now. But, I seriously can’t say thank you enough for the gratitude that I feel from your generous support. You have allowed me to embark on a once in a life time opportunity to help spread the Word of God, help people around the world, and grow in my relationship with Jesus. Thank you.
A small recap of all the things that you supporters have been a part of these past two months:
Guatemala: My team and I worked at an elderly daycare center building relationships with the people there and sharing our love for Jesus with them. We were also blessed to be able to help with projects to enhance their facility. After two weeks, we left with a very tearful good-bye and were given handmade gifts from all of the wonderful people who attended the daycare!
Nicaragua: Last month, my team and I were on an unsung heroes campaign to find new ministries for Adventures in Missions (AIM) to partner with in the future. AIM wants to build relationships with new ministries in hopes to send World Race teams there to come along side with what they are doing for the Kingdom of God. I am happy to report that we submitted 10 ministries!! Not sure if partnerships will come about in all of these contacts, but if we are able to partner with a few of them I know that the World Race will help make a lasting impact on them and visa versa.
Costa Rica: We have arrived at our new ministry at Glory Christian School (GCS) in Heredia, Costa Rica three days ago! We are partnered with another team for this month, Daughters of the Vineyard and couldn’t be more excited to spend this month with them. They are such incredible women of God! The school is actually our home for this month, we are sleeping in the classrooms on our sleeping pads. Our teams are responsible for devotionals in the mornings (I am with high school girls!), helping out with chapels, and lending hands with projects around the campus. However, GCS is connected with other ministries in the area, so we will have the opportunity to help out at a boys home, feed the homeless and minister to prostitutes. I couldn’t be more excited about this month and the opportunity we have to love on the kids at the school and everyone we meet. We have been blessed to have a former World Racer working here at our ministry (Ashli) and she has been so good to us and has gone out of her way to make us feel welcomed. She feels like a part of our team already and it’s been three days! She’s amazing. In addition to Ashli, all of the staff and other missionary’s who work here have welcomed us with open arms. I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for this month.
With all that said, know that none of this would have been able to happen without your help from home! Thank you so so much! I love you all with all of my heart! You are making an everlasting impact for the Kingdom of God.
If you still feel called to give, I would ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with one of my teammates who still needs funding. If you would like to do this, email me at [email protected] and I can give you more details.
