Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing you to share some great news! First, I want to give you a quick update on my life right now. I recently finished my time at Clemson University and am extremely proud to call myself a new Clemson Tiger Alumni. Go Tigers! I definitely could not have done it without your support throughout the years. Now I feel led to my next step in life… to work in the mission field.
A few months ago, God introduced me to an incredible organization called The World Race, which is part of Adventures in Missions. The more I read about this mission, the greater my passion grew to step out of my comfort zone, overcome challenges, and take on the world in the missionary field.
The World Race provides the opportunity to travel to 11 countries in 11 months sharing the Gospel and His love by serving local churches, helping orphanages, teaching at local schools, feeding the hungry, assisting the needy and serving where God calls us to serve. The route I feel God has called me to be a part of includes the following countries: Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Mozambique, Swaziland, and South Africa.
I feel He has absolutely called me on this mission trip to help make a difference in the world and share His love. During graduation I actually got the call of acceptance from the World Race office, reinforcing my feelings that this is where God wants me right now. I pray God will provide me with a servant’s heart while sharing His loving grace and helping those that are far less blessed.
If you would be interested in participating with me on this amazing opportunity, there are ways.
God has blessed us with an incredible gift and that gift is prayer. Anyone can easily pray to Him by simply closing their eyes and pouring out their heart and thoughts to Him. With prayer, miraculous things can happen before our very eyes. My request for you is to pray that God will prepare the hearts of those we meet to accept the message we carry. Please also pray for all of us on the field that we will be healthy and strong to better serve him. Please also pray for our safety as we travel around the world.
If God has blessed you financially and you feel led to support this mission, in addition to praying, I encourage you to do so. Even the smallest amount will be a blessing. If you are unable to give financially, I understand, but I hope you will still keep this trip in your prayers. If you would like to provide financial support, I have included my deadlines below. You can simply click on the "Support Me!" link on the left if you prefer to donate online or if you prefer to pay with a check to avoid processing fees, I have enclosed a response card and important information regarding donations.
I am so excited for this upcoming trip, as it will be an experience to see God’s work be done first-hand, a chance to serve in third-world countries, and help change lives forever. I promise to be a great representative of the love of Jesus Christ and I look forward to spreading His love across the globe because of your support. You can be a part of my journey by following my updates online.
