Sometimes things don’t make sense.
Sometimes your plans don’t work out the way you wanted them to.
Sometimes we have to get to a place of accepting we are not in control.
And sometimes, just sometimes, we have to trust in the process.
Trust that it will all work out.
Trust that the best is yet to come.
Trust that God’s plans are higher than your plans.
And, well, that’s exactly where I am right about now.
Two weeks ago, I was presented with the opportunity to travel the world, once again.
It’s a pilot experimental position to travel with a group of current World Racers. I would be traveling with them to 3 countries; South Africa, Botswana, and Swaziland.
My role would be to teach, encourage and support current missionaries to blog about their experiences on the field. Just like I did while traveling on the Race.
Lord knows, blogging wasn’t something I was excited about at first, but God taught me how to like it. He taught me to be comfortable with my writing and exposing my life to others (Something that I didn’t grow up doing but I know God can use it for the betterment of the world).
With all that said, God opened the doors and now I am going back to Africaaaaa for 3 months! I leave tomorrow night!
I am excited to get to use my skills and newly found passion for blogging/storytelling.
This year is starting off on such a different note than what I planned for, but man is it nervously exciting!
God is not done with me yet, y’all.
(Well, He’ll never be but that’s for another blog.)
Anyways, please keep me in your prayers as I travel for 27 hours to get to Johannesburg, South Africa. All the layovers add up!
And of course, stay tuned for my upcoming blogs!
Thank you for all your unconditional support & unmeasurable love!
Love you guys,
Claudia <3
“Jesus doesn’t invite us on a business trip. Instead, He says let’s go after those things that inspire and challenge you and let’s experience them together. You don’t need a lot of details or luggage or equipment, just a willingness to go into a storm with a Father who’s kicking footholds into the steep sides of our problems while we kick a couple in ourselves too.” -Love Does by Bob Goff
