Panajachel

This is a beautiful town across the lake from San Pedro.
This picture of the lake is sunrise in Panajachel.
Every morning I come here for my morning swim.
The volcano on the picture is the one we had to climb for the race.

Wow!
The colours of the markets are amazing and everything is handmade!
There is one street in Pana that is just a market. Ladies, shopping here is lots of fun its such a pity there is no space in my backpack.

In October 2005 Pana had rain for 7 days which caused floods and mud slides.
More than 92 houses were destroyed in the floods.
Everything was washed into the lake
and many people were left homeless.

Yellow and blue team with ouma

The yellow and the blue team are working together to help as many families as possible.

This is one of the houses we built.
Migel, a Mexican Missionary and I built this house.
It still has a few finishing touches, but the hard work is done.
We also found a pilla(washing basin) in the riverbed and we had to carry it here, crazy, this thing weighs about 200kg.
Seven people were needed to move this thing; this gym in Gautemala is free!
