It’s not about me.

It just really isn’t… All of my life and all of my motivation is driven by God. It is about Him.

His Son, Jesus the Christ, is my Savior. He is what I am about.

In the words of John the Baptist… “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

But, I will tell you a little bit about who I am and who He has called me to be.

I am currently 22 years old, when I leave for the WR I will be 23, and when I return I will be 24!

This past Spring I graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a degree in Christian Ministry and a focus in Biblical Counseling. During my time in college I played on the Women’s lacrosse team. This was one of the greatest highlights of my college career.

I also had the opportunity to go on my first foreign mission trip to Port au Prince, Haiti with MBU’s Campus Ministry organization. That trip confirmed in me my passion for missions, which has become more than just a trip overseas; it is a way of life.

I currently live with six other Christian women in a house in Shrewsbury, MO.

Living with them is a great blessing to me! There’s never a dull moment 🙂

I am a teacher’s assistant at Hope Montessori Academy. I love spending time with the children each day, getting to know them and care for them. Ministering to Little Ones is a part of my gifting and calling in the Lord.

The biggest adventure I have had in my life up to this point was hiking the Grand Canyon rim to rim this past summer. I got to go with my best friend in the whole world, Lindy, and her family. I had the time of my life!

I am so excited for all that God has in store for this next chapter of my life…
