My name is Catie and I’m 22.
1 of my favorite verses for this season of life is Romans 12:9-10
“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”
2 things about my education: I am currently attending San Diego Miramar College and I am majoring in Liberal Arts, emphasizing in Special Education.
3 things I’m passionate about: working with kids with special needs, food, and hearing about/watching God work through and in people.
4 countries that I have been to: Kenya, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, and Mexico.
5 of my strengths: positivity, developing, adaptability, including and empathy.
6 of my favorite things to do: have coffee with friends, talk life and Jesus, play my ukulele, running, eating good food, and laugh.
7 words to describe myself: outgoing, passionate, crazy, adventurous, personable, encouraging, and a little awkward.
These next 10 months I will be preparing to go on an adventure that I never thought I would ever be able to be a part of. I will be traveling to Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. I am so excited to see how God is going to work through my team in these countries. This is going to be one of the craziest adventures I’ve ever been on and I’m stoked. I’m ready. I’m set. So let’s go.
