Soon to be World Race Ladies and Gentlemen (and anyone else reading),
I hope you like to eat bugs, sleep in canoes, thunderstorms, and go without showers for days. THIS IS WHAT TRAINING CAMP MAY LOOK LIKE!
JUST KIDDING!!
Do NOT be apprehensive to attend training camp! However, be prepared for the unexpected to come to life. Be prepared for physical wreckage, mental wreckage, and spiritual wreckage. Be prepared for transformations, formations, and transfigurations with new friends, yourself, and God. Things will erupt that you never thought imaginable (not to scare you). You will become vulnerable, honest, and accepting to your new family from around the world that will soon become your family, that you have only just met.
I have just finished training camp in May, preparing to launch in July of 2012. I was stretched far physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Some of my darkest moments have been released and revealed and I now feel FULLY prepared and equipped to go and serve the nations.
I will tell you this: Conditions at training camp are somewhat primitive. This may be a challenge if you are used to your own clean bathroom. Food is…yummy. And I hope everyone likes to share! If we gave away all of what happened at training camp, other may not have the same experience. So for now, I’ll keep it a secret 🙂 I came out with best friends, fully prepared, and a BIG God.
