Sorry that I havn’t posted yet since being here in Matamoros, Mexico. … I had a few long flights to get here and didn’t get much sleep, but seeing everyone that first day was awesome! Things are slowly coming together for the trip, and all the little details are being worked out.
During my time with the Lord the yesterday I was reading in the New Testament about how the people thought that Jesus was crazy, even to the point of having a demon. I was realizing that as I have been talking to people about the World Race the most common comment has been about how it sounds ‘crazy!’. And yes it does sound crazy. The simple fact of trying to buy a van to drive through Mexico and Guatemala sounds crazy. Not to mention our tiny budget, and the fact that we don’t really know much about Mexico let alone where we are even going in Guatemala… but that’s ok with me… my whole goal in life is to be more like Jesus… if people thought that Jesus was crazy and the things that the disciples were doing were crazy, well then I guess I want to be crazy too!!!
So from this crazy girl in Mexico… lets all be a little more crazy for the Lord!
