so once again i made a last minute decision … i talked with annamarie and decided to go ahead and pack my bag…. i am with my team and doing Beat the Drum!
i had a wonderful time with the lord just praying and reading last week. god was quiet, but it was refreshing to just have as much time as i wanted and needed to spend with him. the rest was refreshing and has given me the energy that i will definetly need for the next two weeks of ministry.
i am living with laura from the brown team with a wonderful house family!! they treat us like queens!!! what an abundant blessing! i am also working with laura to teach the grade 10 C class. it will be a new thing for me and a change of pace for her as she was working with the grade8 last week at a different school. we showed the Beat the Drum video yesterday to all of the kids, who behaved quite well. please continue to pray for us as we do the program. they got a great responce from the kids and teachers last week (their only negative was that they want us to do it for the Whole School next time!). we are hoping to also open up the church the last night we are here to show it to our host families and anyone else who has a desire to see the film.
we will be leaving early friday morning to go help counsel at a youth camp over the weekend. we are planning on having about 80 grade 7 kids. it will be a typical camp only that we are allowed to share the gospel, yea! we are greatly looking forward to it.
