Last month we had our “Buy-a-Country” fundraiser, and we sold ALL of them! Praise the Lord!! Thanks to everyone who gave toward our trip and became an official World Race supporter of ours 🙂
For this month we are rolling out something new…..
Pick a Number! We have this fancy wooden frame (we worked on all day, because it turns out we aren’t as crafty as we thought! haha) that has numbers 1 – 120! Anyone can purchase a number by donating the dollar amount that is equivalent to the number they choose. I.E. if you pick number 11, you are deciding to donate $11 toward our trip! With every number you purchase you have over a 20% chance of winning a mystery gift!
Our theme for this fundraiser is AFRICA. Africa is pretty special to us, considering Kimmy’s twin sister lives in South Africa and is married to a wonderful South African. Also, both of us have spent time in different countries in Africa and have collected MANY souvenirs. Now we are giving them away! A little more than 1/5th of the numbers have a gift behind them!
If you have a number that’s important to you, a birth date, and anniversary, a lucky number, come snatch it before it’s too late!
What we like about this fundraiser is that it gives everyone a chance, regardless of how much money they have or don’t have. So maybe you can only give $1 or $2, or just replace your coffee budget for the day, with $4, we are thankful that this allows all of our friends the ability to support us financially. And yes, there’s even a chance of winning a prize with by picking those lower numbers!
