When the evening session was over last night, E-squad’s support coach came to us to talk about our approaching deadline. “Can you guys just get me a final count on how much you still need?” He said.
I bit back a quick, “Same as this morning, probably,” and let Pablo answer.
“Sure, let me check and I’ll let you know.” Pablo pulled up our account on his phone. “Oh my gosh,” was all he kept saying. When he showed me the screen, I couldn’t believe it. I could only cover my gaping mouth and stare. We had received an anonymous donation of $3876.00!
God kept his promise. He provided miraculously so that we can continue doing his work. He has made us a testament to his faithfulness when we surrender our lives to his plan.
To you, the anonymous donor, you are the only one who will know what you did, besides our heavenly father. I wish I could meet you, to thank you and hear the story of how God moved your heart. But I know the reason you choose anonymity is so I will give Glory to God and not to you. And I certainly do. Thank you for listening to His voice and obeying in such a sacrificial way.
The Lord did this. I did not – could not – lift a finger to raise this money on my own. All I did was pray this verse over myself every time I felt a prick of doubt.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts, offer up your requests to God.” –Philippians 4:6
