Alright… so their last name is Biletskaya, but seriously… we lived with the Von Trapp’s.
Absolutely the most musical family that I’ve ever met.
We had a Pappa, Momma, Babushka and 11 new brothers and sisters, plus a few cousins!
We played and sang everywhere that we went. Everywhere.
It was never annoying because they are SO good and they love to do it!
We spent the month visiting the elderly, gardening for neighbors, harvesting potatoes, praying in hospitals, building fences, painting murals and working with the youth in the village.

I loved being part of a real family again.
Momma stuffed us with crazy amounts of delicious food all day long and we never complained 🙂
We were only 3k from the Black Sea. BEAUTIFUL!
We’ve only been gone a few weeks and we seriously miss them like mad.
