HELLO!
My name is Brea to those that know me, and for those that do not, I am more formally known as Breanna Carmichael. I was raised in a small town in Northern California nestled right between San Francisco and Sacramento. I grew up in a very extensive, yet still loving and supportive family. And it was from them that I absolutely learned to LOVE the outdoors. Especially the ocean in all the vast beauty it holds. It has a very special grip on my heart. I think I can thank my father for that. I find adventure captivating, particularly ones that involve exploring. Seeking out adventure in reading great stories. And most importantly, the adventures I share in speaking and spending quality time with those I hold most dear (including my puppy Silly). These are just some of my loves and passions. I was introduced into the church when I was very young, and I have had the privilege of walking with God most of my life. It was only recently that I discovered what it means to have and seek a relationship with God. And Wow, what a liberating walk with Him it’s been so far! By opening up my heart to Him, letting Him tear down my walls, and by making me let go of what I cannot control, He has shown me the world from a whole new perspective. AND IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER! This awakening has left me in a much more grateful place. And now I am more conscious of my purpose here on earth. Even in the difficult times when the light at the end of the tunnel seems so bleak, He does not leave us – He provides a brighter light. IN JESUS THERE IS SUNSHINE EVERYWHERE 🙂 January of 2016 I applied for the World Race. I did so because I want to bring love and light to places and people that need it the most. I just love people and listening to their stories. I love the look in someone’s eyes when they tell you what their passions are and what it is that makes them tick. I applied because I want to be a part of changing the world meanwhile growing in my walk with Jesus, and I am thrilled to see what God has in store for me during this year to come.
