Hi everyone! Yessir, that’s me up there. My name is Brad and I was proudly born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado. I’m 24 years old and this May 2014 I will be graduating from the University of Colorado with a Masters Degree in Computer Science.
The Fam
One of the greatest blessings in my life is my family. My mom and dad (Beverly and Dave) are some of the most wonderful people that you could ever hope to meet. My brother Steve and I have been blessed to be raised in a loving home that faithfully seeks to honor God. My mom knows how to prepare some pretty bomb Mexican food, and it’s always easy to pick her out by her Texas accent that still lingers decades after leaving that country. My dad is an electrical engineer. The company he works for developed that famous alcohol bracelet that Lindsay Lohan had to wear for a while. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him beating the local casinos at their own game (he really gets a kick out of that, not to mention a nice kickback). Steve will be starting pharmacy school at CU’s Skaggs School of Pharmacy in the Fall of 2014. My Aunt Diane also lives very close and I love her to death. My family is great, and I sincerely hope you get the chance to meet them one day.

Some of my Interests
I really enjoy the outdoors. In the winter you’ll find my roommates and I snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. When the snow melts, I love to go hiking, back-packing, and really anything else that keeps me out in the sun. When summer comes and school is finished, I’ve got probably the coolest job anyone could ever hope for. I work at Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting Company. I get the pleasure of guiding river trips, backpacking trips, and rock-climbing trips. The best part, however, is that I get to share the love of Jesus, and am encouraged to do so, as part of my job description. That looks different for every trip and ever group of people, and it’s not always easy; but, I really couldn’t ask for a better place to spend the last six summers of my life. This May 2014 I graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a master’s degree in computer science. I’ve put together a little portfolio with some of my work, which you can find here. My interests lie mostly in the fields of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and Computer Animation. In addition to studying at the University of Colorado, I have studied abroad in Spain (Summer 2008) and Costa Rica (2009-2010).
