Hey y’all! What a crazy past couple of weeks. Lots of ups and downs, but all according to Romans 8:28-29– “And we know that in all things God works for those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son…”
I mention this because I can’t believe that this time is already here! The last time I wrote here I mentioned that I am still on the fence of going on the world race again because of some relational issues with others. However, I have come to the realization that the main relational issue here is not with my loved ones here, but with the Lord. The World Race is more than just “touring” the world, having an awesome time and doing great things for people. It’s about being vulnerable, responsible, patient, loving on the unlovable, working hard, sharing the character of Christ, teaching the price and prize of the gospel…and being available. All of those things I struggle with doing here.
Regardless, I am still here to attend the training camp and I will make that final decision on August 20. Please pray that God will reveal his plans for me on this trip. Pray that I will know and love Him more. Please pray for traveling mercies for my squad as everyone is making their way from all over the US to come to GA for training camp the next couple of weeks. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to have his way…
