I don’t know if it’s Sarah’s servant heart or Stella’s thankfulness.

The beautiful children we pass on the road or baby Grace’s adorable smile.

The amazing morning sunrises or the starry night sky.

The delicious Kenyan meals Sarah cooks or the familiarity of peanut butter and jelly.

The quiet camp that reminds me of my favorite week of summer or the nearby city bustling with activity.

The mornings of worship with my team or the relaxed evenings of talking and resting.

The beauty of God’s Creation all around or the beauty of the people He has here.

I don’t know what it is, but this I do know:

Kenya has captivated me.

It instantly felt like home as no other place has.

God, thank You for Kenya- this country, the people, this ministry. Help me to serve You well in this place.
