My time has come!

Three years after hearing about the World Race for the first time I put in my application. I heard about the World Race through my friend Peter, who was part of Z Squad in September 2011. I knew almost immediately that this was something I was being called to participate in – something bigger and bolder than the current mission work I was involved in – something that would feed my hunger to help those who are not as fortunate as I have been. I then spent the next couple of years waiting patiently on God to tell me when it was my time and I am so stoked that I will be launching as part of the World Race Fusion squad in January 2015.

Mission work is something that was put on my heart from an early age but it wasn’t until 2009 that I went on my first mission trip. I went to Ghana with the charity I helped to set up which has been building a child care centre in the Volta Region.

I love Ghana, a big piece of my heart has been left there and I hope to return one day in the not to distant future, but I don’t believe my work was ever meant to be confined to one country, instead I believe I am to go out to all nations proclaiming the word of God.

I am so excited for this next chapter in my life!
