Well, it’s been about six months since my last blog entry.

Life moves really, really fast post World Race. As the year is coming to an end, I can’t help but reflect and write about all of the things that the Lord has done.

It’s so hard to look at these photos without crying. So many precious souls that our God has breathed life into. I love them, my brothers and sisters. This year will dwell in my spirit for all of my days. 11 countries, 11 months. My soul sings.
A few updates in my life: I’m currently residing in Sacramento, California. My days are often spent with sunshine and family. It’s been quite the transition, but I’m so thankful to be a part of my brothers lives again, and spend lots of time with my parents and grandparents. I love the community here, I’m currently involved with a young adults ministry called Epic Life. We meet on Thursday nights to worship, share testimonies, hear the word of God, invite others in and build connections. It’s been so inspiring and reminds me of my many nights bonding with X-Squad across the nations. The two immediate things that I prayed for upon moving to Sacramento was that I would find a solid community and also a job. Even though I don’t have a solid job yet, the fact that I’ve met some of the most incredible people who are already teaching me how to cultivate my walk with the Lord is more than I could have imagined. I’m so grateful for the body of Christ. My soul will always rejoice when I find the men and women of peace within my presence.
Lastly, after a few months of rest and processing I decided to pick up my camera again. It’s such a scary thing to start all over in a new city. I had a solid network system in Portland, Oregon with my art. Being in Sacramento and pursuing art is a little daunting. This city is a lot smaller and known for journalism and politics. However, I’m an artist. I will ALWAYS be an artist, and I’ve been prayed over, spoken over, and told time and time again that photography is a gift that the Lord has given me and I need to use it. So that’s what I’m currently pursuing. My website is relaunching in January and I would love for you to follow along this next chapter of my life. You can find me here: http://beedeephoto.com
This is my last World Race blog entry.
Thank you SO incredibly much, those of you who supported me financially, those of you who held me when I cried, those of you who read my blogs and flooded me with comments of encouragement and love. I would not be the woman I am today if it weren’t for my Jesus molding me and giving me the strength when I needed it and for all of your love shining through. A MILLION TIMES, THANK YOU.
Your sister always, B.
