Nicaragua, it’s only been two weeks and I love you so.

This lifestyle is not something I plan on doing for a year and leaving as soon as I get back to the States. The World Race is practice for the rest of my life. I love this life, I love leaving our ministry site with the intention of asking the Lord to show us someone to connect with every single day. This month has been so relational. That’s what life is all about to me. I’m in love with all of the warmth, the people, the places that Nicaragua has to offer. God’s love is here, I see Him everyday in the “holas” in the kisses on the cheek, in the morning sunrise, in the fresh fish dinners from the catch of the day, in the joy my teammates get when they connect with someone, in watching the locals laugh at our broken Spanglish, in my cup of coffee, in the days I can take photos freely, in the endless array of plants, in those moments I can marvel at His glory while listening to “Pieces” by Amanda Cook (thanks Makenzie!) I see Him in everything. Intentionality. This is a really popular word on the race & it means so much to me. The day I became a follower of Christ, God threw a huge party up in heaven & gave me His Holy Spirit to dwell within me forever. I can’t help but be full of joy knowing and living with Him everyday. All my delight is in Him, all of my hope, all of my strength. I pray that whoever is reading this knows that God is all you need, let Him dwell in your heart and I can promise you, no matter what your going through, even the rough stuff, God’s gonna fill you up with joy you never even knew you could radiate because the world is in His hands. Let His will be done. Joy is a choice, let the Lord take you by the hand and show you how to fully live and love.

Love, B.
