Today is our last official day in South Africa. We leave tomorrow for our two-day bus ride to Mozambique, and with it comes several changes. Megan and Joshua has served us well as our Squad Leaders, but they are now passing on their batons. Nick Hayden, my old team leader for Fuego De Dios, is now our new squad leader, along with Christen Chiles, the old team leader of Sisterhood.
We are happy to call them our new leaders! And with that change, we now have been formed into new teams. My new team leader is….. Marian Padilla! We still have David Mergl with us and are now joined with Kathryn Law, Jamie Smith, Peter Dinh and Rachel Martin. I had the privilege to work with all of my current team members in previous months.
When we walked into our rooms for mini-debrief each of us had a word by our names, it speaks truth about our team and who we are.

We are team RUACH. Ruach is a Hebrew word that is translated into breath, spirit, and wind. We are a team that is bringing God’s breath and spirit to the nations. We speak truth and love on those that we meet. We have His inheritance, He is our refuge, we are blessed, we are joyous, alive, and redeemed!
Fuego de Dios has spread the fire to different teams and the whole squad; now we are a wind that carries the spirit of love, truth and life! I am excited for my new team as we head off into Mozambique.
