Beauty.
We all think about it… “Do I look good today?” “Am I pretty?” And it’s come to my attention that it’s not only girls that think about it. And I feel the urge, no, the NECESSITY to write to all of you and tell you, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
God made you, and He is not going to make something ugly, he makes things special and unique. He knows who you are, when you are even struggling to find yourself. Psalm 139: 13-14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Sometimes we judge ourselves on the standards of others, and not on what GOD is looking at. He wants our hearts!! 1 Samuel 16:7 “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
God loves you so much, He even holds you together!!! Colossians 1:17 “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” (Side note: If you never heard of laminin you should check it out! Basically they are “The laminin are a family of glycoproteins that are an integral part of the structural scaffolding in almost every tissue of an organism“ and guess what they look like? A cross!)
So just know, God made you, He put you together, and you are beautiful because you are His creation! J
