Destiny Christain School and Community Centre will forever hold a special place in my heart. This month in Zambia, ministry looked very different for me. As my most of teammates were in the classroom, assisting teachers in all grade levels, Amy and I worked in the office. Initially we had hopes to update the website and then join our team mates in classrooms after a few days. After just one day in the office it was evident that the Lord wanted to use in a totally different way.
This month I spend ample time with host, hearing his heart behind the ministry and passion for the students at the school. Giving up almost everything he and his family have, they care for these students in a way that the students will never begin to understand. Pastor Peter has hopes and dreams beyond just providing an education. He wants to create a community center that will reach every one in the surrounding area. His church is planted in the middle of the school facility and the presence of the Lord is strong there.

The biggest need? SPONSORSHIP. In order for these children to receive and education, the school is in need of more sponsors. With over 150 kids, only 40 are currently sponsored. Please look into sponsoring one of these children and providing them with not only an education but a spiritual foundation as well.
