So I’m in Mexico.  This is not where I thought I would be last week at this time.  Last Sunday night I was still under the impression that I would not be able to take part in the World Race.  God has provided though, and I do find myself waking up in a strange room with strange people.  Luckily after 11 months they won’t be strangers anymore.  I made the mistake of booking my tickets to Brownsville through both of Houston’s major aiports.  So my trip began with a scenic tour of dowtown in transit to the second airport.  Once I arrived in Matamoros, I was extremely happy to find out that we would be doing a slight amount of orientation before bed.  I hadn’t slept in two and half days.  Praise the Lord for time to sleep.  This morning I woke up somewhat refreshed and excited to begin planning for the next parts of the trip.  We had a small competition on the Road Rules for the race, and my team won a tip on traveling in Mexico.  Later this afternoon, Sarah, Casey, and I finally managed to successfully assemble our borrowed tent for the journey.  That third pole just didn’t seem to have a correct place, but it’s a great tent.  We’re all excited about the chance to sleep in it.  Please continue to pray for my support.  I know the Lord will provide, and I’m just excited to see how He does it.
