During training camp, I dove deep into my heart, allowing God to meet me in deep-rooted hurt and pain, letting go and accepting his love over and over again. Working hard to not work, striving to remain in stillness, rejecting the lies, and absorbing the truth. Its not easy, but its simple; and freedom follows. There is nothing more fulfilling than the beautiful communion of the Holy Spirit! Oh how wonderful he is… refreshing every atom of your being!

For this mission trip, we got separated into 3 groups. Two groups of 5, and one group of 3. I am in the group of 3 and we are 3 males. One day when we were worshipping, I got a vision that I walked into the fiery eyes of Jesus and then was transported to another vision in which I was inside a fiery furnace like the one from the book of Daniel. I wasn’t in the furnace alone, Jesus was inside with me, and my teammates Jerod and Alex were inside the fiery furnace also. We were in the furnace together, and we were not harmed. Notably, in the story in Daniel 3, the three men fell bound into the furnace, yet when they were thrown into the fire, they were unbound.

“23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell bound into the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” 25 He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.””

Thus, we decided to name our team ‘Unbound’. No matter what fire we walk into this year, Jesus is with us. God can save us from anything, and even if he doesn’t we will not kneel down to other gods. No matter what fire you are going through, know that Father is faithful. There is freedom in surrender!

I invite you to go into prayer, and according to Father’s perfect timing, to allow his HOLY FIRE to continually REFINE you and TRANSFORM you from the INSIDE OUT.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;

Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
