Growth {a progressive development; increase/expansion; a stage of development; maturity}
That’s what I expect in this wild journey that lies ahead of me. I want to grow in who I am, the purpose I was formed with, and grow in the depths of who He is. Everything else flows from that because being stretched, challenged, and pushed out of my comfort zone all come when growth is happening.

That’s what I expect to see in those around me. Not only do I want to grow myself but I want to see others grow in their identity as sons and daughters. I desire to see my teammates, my little family that I’ll have for a year, know the richness of who He is to them. I want to witness nations opening their eyes to realize their inheritance in Christ and just how much He pursues their heart.
Whatever growth looks like, that’s what I want. I want to become more like Him and less like me.
“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord — who is the Spirit — makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Jesus, let us be surrendered to You completely that we can grow, that we would be pliable and have teachable hearts and minds. Give us the ability and strength to let go of the “this is how it’s done” mentality and embrace Your method and plans. As we walk into this new year may we grow in who You are and who that makes us. We are sons, we are daughters, we are lovers, and we are friends, we sit with You in heavenly places and greater things shall we do than the One that went before us.
